Proximity Join allows you to spontaneously connect to a Teams Meeting Room using Bluetooth from your phone or any device. 80% of interaction between colleagues takes place in ad-hoc unscheduled meetings.
Proximity Join is crucial for those times when you haven’t reserved office space but you need to dive into the nearest vacant space for an impromptu discussion.
The smartphone or other device will automatically detect the Teams Meeting Room (MTR) audio, visual and management devices and connect you seamlessly to the meeting.
